(3) Government officials (including central and local governments) who come to Canada on official business at the invitation of the federal or provincial and territorial governments of Canada.
(4) Government officials invited by international organizations to attend relevant meetings in Canada.
(5) Diplomatic Courier.

4. Government officials at the vice-ministerial level, vice-provincial level or above (including ministries and commissions) who hold diplomatic or service passports and are eligible for a C-1 (courtesy) visa for official duties in Canada are required to submit a note from the Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the local foreign Affairs Office when applying for visas.
5. Travel between China and the United States via Canada with a valid U.S. non-immigrant visa, apply for a transit visa, and stay for no more than 48 hours.

(3) Bioinformation collection fee: The bioinformation collection fee is 85 Canadian dollars. If the visa is rejected, the fee will not be refunded.
The following three categories of biological information collection personnel are exempt from the biological information collection fee:.
1. Holders of diplomatic passports.
2. Transit visa applicants.
3. Non-government officials on official duties in Canada at the invitation of the Federal or provincial or territorial Governments of Canada.
4. Validity period: The validity period of a collection of biometric information is 10 years. If you re-apply for a visa within 10 years after the biometric information is collected, you do not need to keep the biometric information repeatedly. However, the validity period of the re-issued visa will not exceed the validity period of the biometric information collection.
