The following are the conditions for processing a visa: If a visa applicant meets all of the following conditions, a visa that meets the requirements will be issued.

3. The applicant's activities or status, status and duration of stay in Japan comply with the eligibility and duration of stay stipulated in the Law on the Recognition of Entry and Refugees (Order 319 of 1951, hereinafter referred to as the Law on the Administration of Entry).
4. The applicant does not comply with one of the provisions of Item 1 of Article 5 of the Entry Management Law.
Note: Article 5, Item 1 of the Entry Management Law: Foreigners who meet one of the following conditions are not allowed to enter Japan.

The number of people eligible for multiple-entry visas from the three northeastern prefectures (Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima) will be expanded to include the six northeastern prefectures (Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata and Fukushima). It also removed the requirement that people of certain financial means have visited Japan in the past three years.
(3) Relax multiple visa requirements for high-income individuals.
Multiple entry visas (valid for five years with a 90-day stay) are issued to high earners and their families. The purpose of visiting Japan for the first time is no longer limited to sightseeing, but can also be used for business or visiting friends. In addition, applicants can arrange their own air tickets and accommodation to Japan.
(4) Simplify the application procedures for single entry tourist visas.
For credit card (Gold Card) holders, individual single entry tourist visa application materials are simplified.
(2) Measures taken against Chinese nationals residing outside China.
Chinese living abroad can also apply for a multiple-visitor visa under the same conditions as at home.

The multi-entry visa, valid for 3 years and with a stay period of 30 days, is issued to persons with sufficient financial means and their families. Multiple-entry visas, valid for five years and with a stay of 90 days, are issued to higher-earning individuals and their families.
