· Under the Southern Immigration Act, short-term visa holders are not allowed to work unless authorized by the Director of the Department of the Interior. To obtain authorization, you need to provide: the applicant's employer issued a written explanation not to apply for a work permit, and you need to explain the urgency of short-term work needs and the reason why it is necessary. In addition, the applicant's Chinese employer and the South African inviting company must guarantee that the applicant will not apply for renewal or change of visa status (category) in South Africa. Such visas will be marked "not applicable for renewal and change of status".
Family visit visa.

· Children under 18 years of age must present a notarized birth certificate. A consent form is required if one of the parents is not accompanying the child. If neither parent is able to accompany the child, details of the authorised person must be provided. Fee guarantee.
· Copy of the inviter's South African identity card/passport/valid visa/Temporary residence permit.
· Certifying letter from the applicant's employer, indicating the applicant's position, purpose of visit and expected length of stay in South Africa. It must be signed by the supervisor, stamped with the company seal, and indicate the company's contact address and telephone number (printed on the company's official stationery). If there is no work unit, the inviter shall submit the application. If retired, you don't need to provide.
