Denmark, formally known as the Kingdom of Denmark, is a Nordic kingdom comprised of the following territories:

Non-EU visitors who desire to visit Denmark must submit the following documents when they arrive at the Danish port of entry:

When you enter Denmark, please ensure that the Danish border officer stamps your passport. You might be penalized or arrested if you do not have a stamp.
Who Must Have a Schengen Visa to Enter Denmark?
If you fall into one of the following categories, you will require a short-stay visa to enter Denmark and any other Schengen member country:
You are a national of a third-world country that has not signed an agreement with the Schengen nations on visa liberalization.
You are a third-world national who has signed a visa liberalization agreement with the Schengen nations, but you have previously been denied entry into Denmark or any other Schengen country.
Your Denmark visa application process is determined by the reason for your travel to the country. That is why, before you begin the application procedure, you should determine what sort of Danish visa for short-term visits you require.
You can apply for one of the following Schengen visa categories for Denmark, depending on your purpose of admission and stay:

Studying in Denmark requires a visa. This visa type allows you to study for up to three months at a Danish educational institution.
Denmark Visa for Cultural, Sports, and Film Crews. Apply for this to enter the Schengen zone in order to participate in a sport or cultural activity in Denmark.
Please keep in mind that these visas allow you to stay in Denmark for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. If you require a visa to stay in Denmark for an extended period of time, apply for a Danish National Visa instead.
The following are the mandatory Denmark visa requirements:
Form for obtaining a Danish visa. Fill out the form on your computer, print it, and sign it at the bottom.
There are two passport photographs. The images must be similar and meet the photo standards for the Danish Schengen visa application.
Your current passport. As previously stated, ensure that your passport contains:

Copies of any prior visas (if any).
Travel health insurance for Denmark. Evidence proving you have travel health insurance that covers the whole Schengen area, including Denmark, and any form of medical emergency for at least 30,000€.
Round-trip Flight Itinerary. A document that shows you have a booked flight, to enter and leave Denmark. This document should specify flight numbers, dates, and your details.
Proof of accommodation. Evidence that shows where you will be staying throughout your time in Denmark I.e. a hotel reservation.
Proof of civil status. This could be a marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, etc.
Proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Denmark. You must be able to attest that you have around 67.24€ per each day you plan to spend in Denmark, if staying in a hotel, while if staying in a hostel or similar cheaper means of accmodation, then the required amount of financial means is around 47.07€.
A cover letter. A personal letter in which you explain why you are applying to visit Denmark, how long you plan to stay, when will you leave and other details.
