Each visit allows you to stay for a maximum of six months. If you apply while under the age of 18, your long-term Standard Visitor visa will only be valid for up to 6 months after you reach 18. You will not be refunded for the cost.
You must provide the following papers to apply for a Long-Term Standard Visitor Visa:
Evidence of frequent brief travels to the United Kingdom.
Proof of intent to depart the United Kingdom at the conclusion of the visa period.
Confirmation that you will not change the reason for which you require this visa.
If you apply online, you will receive a decision on your UK visiting visa within three weeks. However, Standard Visitor visa decisions are now taking an average of 5 weeks.
